Peter Lueckert ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Processed Food Checker mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that information.

a) Data You Provide Directly

b) Data Collected Automatically

• Subscription and Transaction Data: When you purchase a subscription, Apple processes your payment. RevenueCat provides us with information about your subscription status (e.g., whether you are in a free trial or have an active subscription). We do not receive your payment details or Apple ID.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to help improve app performance and stability.
• Diagnostic Data: In the event of a crash or technical issue, anonymous diagnostic information may be collected to help identify and fix problems.

c) Ingredient Scans and Images

If you choose to scan an ingredients list using your camera, the image or extracted text may be sent to Google Cloud Vision APIs for text recognition. This data is used only to provide the ingredient scanning feature and is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the core functionality of the app.
• To determine your subscription status and unlock premium features where applicable.
• To improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
• To process ingredient scans and classify foods using automated systems.

3. Third-Party Service Providers
